S7 Airlines to Provide E-Ticket at Sochi Airport

Starting June 1, 2008 the S7 Airlines will introduce electronic ticket (e-ticket) service at Sochi Airport and Ashgabat (Turkmenistan). E-ticket service will also be available on July 1, 2008 in Simferopol (Ukraine).

The proportion of electronic tickets for all air tickets sold via the Internet in Russia in January 2008 amounted to 72.34%.

S7 Airlines has introduced a technology sales and processing electronic ticket on domestic flights in April 2007. Today the system operates electronic ticket on flights departing from 25 Russian and 19 foreign cities.

Passengers from Sochi to Moscow Flight returned to Sochi airport

Flight 230 from Sochi to Moscow returned to Sochi due the detection of cracks in the windshield glass.  Passengers flew to Moscow on another plane. This news was reported to “Vesti” by the representative of the Sochi airport. According to him, all 68 passengers in 20:36 Moscow Time flew on flight 226, from Sochi airport to airport Vnukovo.

Airplane Sky Express airlines on Friday returned to Sochi’s airport after the 12-minute flight. At a height of 6 thousand m crew detected the appearance of cracks in Calgary cab. The langing was normal. The passengers were unhurt.

Sochi Airport Re-Open

Closed due to the snowfall Sochi airport began working on the actual weather.

International airport Sochi at 18:00 Moscow time on Tuesday began working on the receiving and dispatching flights.

“Sochi airport begins to take flights from Moscow” - told a senior controller production-airport flight dispatcher Leonid Khvorov. He noted that the airport is working based on the weathe conditions on the ground.

According to the dispatcher, Sochi expected lower temperature of up to four degrees below zero.

20 and 21 February precipitation in the form of wet snow will continue. Urban public transport is working normally.

On the morning of Tuesday airport Sochi has been closed indefinitely because of the difficult weather conditions. All services Sochi working in the extremal mode, eliminating the consequences of snowfall. Emergency Accidents in Sochi has been reported.
