Dmitry Kozak Appointed as Deputy Prime Minister

Dmitry Kozak, the current Regional Developement Minister has been appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister who will be overseeing the preparations for the Sochi 2014  Winter Olympics. Considered to be a highly efficient crisis manager in Putin’s team, he is well respected by his peers and authorities. Kozak will be managing the entire construction preparations for the Winter Olympics where his responsibilities would include the construction of sporting facilities.

As Russia is now entering a new phase, where it is about to begin working on the largest construction in Europe, Russia needs a committed Deputy Prime Minister now, more than ever.

The decision to appoint Kozak was decided in a meeting between Putin and President Dmitry where they also discussed on the improtance on focussing on their administrative resources for executing the various tasks within the International Olympic Committee efficiently.

At present the construction companies have confirmed that the construction projects are progressing well and they should be completed on schedule. With some of the biggest corporations involved in the construction of the Sochi 2014 facilities, the IOC is confident that their professionalism and loyalty will produce highly satisfactory results.
