The Austrian minister of Economics and Labor confirmed that such investments would strengthen the ties between the two nations to a great extent.

The first regular flight between Riga and Sochi will resume on Wednesday, June 18 after all flights were suspended between Riga and Sochi in 1990s.  The flights by Air Baltic will be scheduled twice per week and will be about three hours in duration. Read the complete Post.

Latvia’s airBaltic airline will start nonstop flights from Riga to Sochi later this month, Latvian Transport Minister Ainars Slesers said Saturday.

The first flight to Sochi is scheduled for June 18. The airline already flies to St. Petersburg and Moscow.
