Currently, 15% of all construction projects for the 2014 Olympics have been accomplished in the city of Sochi. This is according to the head of the state corporation Olympstroy which is responsible for building the facilities.
Teimuraz Bolloyev which is a total of 215 sports and infrastructure facilities are to be built for the Games, and 30 are under construction now.
Bolloyev mentioned during Saturday’s conference in regard to Olympic preparations that a total of 62 regions are presently involved in Olympic preparations in addition to the 100 design bureaus and more than 200 sub-contractors.
The Sochi Winter Olympic Games will open on February 7, 2014.
